Cancellation Policy
Guided Hikes Policy We're thrilled to share the hidden corners and stories of Switzerland with you. Please read this policy before booking. 1. Booking & Payment All guided hikes are private tours, tailored to your group. Full payment is required at booking to reserve your date. We accept CHF and EUR. Prices include the guided tour and all listed inclusions. Gratuities are appreciated, never expected. 2. Cancellations & Refunds 7+ days before the tour: 100% refund. Less than 7 days: non-refundable. Documented medical emergencies considered individually. No-shows or late arrivals are treated as cancellations. If I must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you'll receive a full refund or may reschedule at no extra cost. 3. Weather Policy Tours run rain or shine. Dress in comfortable layers, wear good-tread shoes, and bring a waterproof jacket if rain is expected. In cases of extreme or unsafe weather, we'll reschedule or, if not possible, issue a refund. 4. Safety & Liability A Liability Waiver must be signed before the hike begins. You're responsible for judging your own physical condition and ability to complete the route. Your guide may adjust the route or pace for safety. Switzerland Unscripted assumes no responsibility for injuries, loss, or accidents from non-compliance with safety instructions, weather conditions, or personal negligence. 5. Participant Guidelines Arrive on time at the agreed meeting point. Bring a refillable water bottle, dress in layers, and wear shoes suitable for cobblestones, stairs, and trail conditions. Children welcome on most hikes with an adult — confirm suitability at booking. Pets considered case-by-case — mention at booking. 6. Changes & Rescheduling Minor itinerary adjustments may occur due to local events, construction, or weather. We'll inform you in advance and offer equivalent alternatives where possible.
