Urban hiking in Zurich opening secret doors

City Adventures on Foot: Ready to GO

Not your typical city tour. Not a mountain hike.

Something in between.

Zurich Urban Hikes are designed for curious travelers who want to experience the city actively beyond the obvious.

Explore Zurich the way locals do: along quiet paths, hidden staircases, forest edges, and panoramic viewpoints; where nature, history, and everyday life naturally connect.

This is sightseeing in motion.

And a way to experience Zurich that most visitors never discover.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I'd let Giada guide me to space!!!!"
June 2026

We had the most wonderful walking tour with Giada as our guide. Her storytelling is exceptional and her enthusiasm is completely infectious. She kept every single person in the group engaged throughout, which is no easy feat. One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend booking with her if you get the chance!"

My Story

Walking has always been my way of truly arriving somewhere — not just visiting it.

There's a different kind of knowing that comes from moving through a place slowly, on foot: the way a trail curves before a view opens up, the smell of a bakery you'd have missed in a car, the nod from someone tending their garden as you pass. You don't get that from a bus window.

You get it step by step.

The mountains, especially, have always felt like home to me — their scale has a way of putting everything else into perspective. As a tour guide, yoga teacher, and travel planner, I kept circling back to the same thing: experiences built on movement, curiosity, and real connection — to nature, to culture, to the people who actually live here.

For a long time, I assumed travel had already figured itself out — guidebooks, top-ten lists, curated apps, someone else doing the thinking for you.

Then it hit me, almost embarrassingly simple:

What if the real Switzerland was never something you could look up?

What if it only exists in the things you notice at walking pace — the trail nobody photographs, the village between the famous ones, the person who tells you where to actually eat?

I've spent years finding those places and those people myself, on foot, one trail at a time — and that's what I want to share with you.

It started with Urban Hiking through the streets of Zurich — stairs to climb, hidden paths to discover, unexpected viewpoints where you'd least expect them, all woven through a city most people think they already know. That idea grew into something bigger: Switzerland Unscripted — custom itineraries, personal trip planning, and guided hikes across the country, all built the same way. Firsthand. Lived. Never looked up. Think of it as a proper hike, wherever it happens: stairs in an old town, a ridge in the Alps, or the itinerary I help you plan for the rest of your trip. The nature, the culture, and the people you meet along the way are never an afterthought — they're the whole point. I can't wait to share it with you. Let's explore Switzerland together, step by step.
